Quality Childcare
I am regularly inspected by Ofsted/My Ofsted registered Agency to ensure that I meet all National standards and am following the Early Years Foundation Stage. I work flexibly and organise my day to meet the needs of individual children in my care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and am really passionate about all children becoming the best version of themselves!
I welcome children ages 6 months to 5 years on a full or part time basis.
I am happy to offer 2,3 and 4 year funded spaces.
Hours and Fees
Monday to Friday 7.00am - 6.00pm
Fees to be discussed at interview as they will vary according to hours and individual contractual requirements.
Meals
Little Tribe provides 3 balanced nutritional meals and 2 snacks throughout the day. All our meals are planned and home-made on the premises each day by me. We use fresh fruit and seasonal vegetables and mostly free-range and organic produce. We also use organic dairy products and all the meat and poultry are fresh and of high quality.
For babies, in addition to milk feeds, which can be formula or breast milk as you wish, weaning is undertaken in partnership with parents. We are happy to support baby led weaning practices according to parental preferences.
We also learn about cooking and preparing food. Children go shopping for ingredients, and then make a range of dishes including the following: Fruit salad, potato salad, biscuits, cakes and bread, pizza, smoothies.
Children are encouraged to serve each other and themselves.
We provide balanced meals for any type of specific allergy and dietary requirement. Please let me know so we can cater for your child’s individual needs.
Admisions
Feel free to visit us several times to be sure that we meet your childcare requirements before making your decision as your child’s welfare and happiness is paramount. We offer free settling in sessions prior to starting date once contract is signed. The contract is a legal agreement between both parties. If there is a change of mind or circumstances by parents once it has been signed, the notice period of two weeks must be honoured or fees will be charged.
Holidays
We usually take 4 weeks holiday a year. We aim to give at least 4 weeks notice so that arrangements can be made for parents to find alternative care or take time off themselves.
Sickness
We have a sympathetic attitude to a sick child and realise parents cannot always take time off work. Although it is not always possible for me to care for a child who is unwell, we are willing to discuss each situation by prior telephone conversation. Please do not bring your child if they have vomited or had diarrhoea in the last 48 hrs. If your child is taken ill whilst in our care, we will contact you immediately. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is too ill to attend.
